A note on this document. It was written to describe the service accurately and in plain language. It has not been reviewed by an attorney, and it is not a substitute for one. If you are relying on it for anything that matters, have a lawyer licensed in your state read it first.

What this site is

Project EP publishes a free six-step guide to setting up a business online, and sells a one-time installation service in which Elon Pope performs those steps for you.

Educational information only, not legal, tax, accounting, banking or security advice. Requirements, prices and product features can change. Nothing on this site is advice about your particular situation. Whether you need to form an entity, which type to form, which licences or registrations apply to you, and how you should be taxed are questions for an accountant or an attorney in your state.

Using the free guide

The guide is free to read and free to follow, and no account or email address is needed for either. You may use it for your own business. You may not republish it as your own work or sell it.

Prices, product names, plan tiers, fees and payout times mentioned in the guide were accurate when written and are stated as approximate. Third-party providers change all of them without notice. Check the provider's own pricing page before you buy anything.

The guide links to third-party and government websites for exactly that reason. Those sites are not operated by Project EP and their content is not controlled by it.

The installation

The installation is a fixed scope of work for a single payment of $3,750. What is included, what is excluded and what is outside anyone's control are listed in full on the work with me page, and that list is the scope.

Sending an enquiry or booking a call does not create an agreement. It starts a conversation. Work begins only when both sides have agreed the scope and the start date in writing. Either of us may decide it is not a fit, and saying so is the intended outcome of the call about half the time.

Accounts created during the installation are yours. They are created in your name, using your email address and your payment method, and you are the account holder from the moment each one exists. Access granted to Elon Pope for the work is removed at handover, with you performing the removal.

Subscription costs for the third-party tools are billed to you directly by each provider. They are not part of the installation fee and Project EP does not receive any part of them.

What cannot be promised

No part of this service can guarantee that a state will approve your filing, that a bank will open an account for you, that a payment provider will accept your business, or how long any of them will take. Those decisions belong to those organisations and are made under their own rules.

Nothing here promises a level of revenue, a number of customers, or a business outcome of any kind. What is promised is the work: the systems within the agreed scope are set up, connected, tested and documented.

The AI visibility audit reports a single live query to a third-party AI system at one moment in time. Those systems return different answers on different days, and the result is directional rather than a measurement.

Using the site fairly

Please do not submit false information to manipulate the audit, attempt to exhaust the rate limits on the live check, or interfere with the service. The live check is limited per address per day, and that limit is there so it keeps working for everyone.

Your data

What is collected and how it is handled is set out on the privacy page, which is written from the code rather than from a template.

Changes and contact

These terms change when the service does, and the date at the top says when they were last revised. Questions go to founder@elonpope.com.
